Adi
Ensure Safety & Training Ltd was established by our Managing Director, Adi, in 2010. His vision for the company was to offer dedicated, understandable, and friendly support to all of his clients.
Adi has more than 20 years of experience within the Health & Safety world with a wealth of knowledge and experience in a wide range of industries, from manufacturing and fabrication to construction and joinery. Adi enjoys the variety that his role brings – he enjoys visiting a range of client sites, meeting new people and overcoming new challenges.
With his wife Annette, he has spent the more recent years developing a team of like-minded individuals who all have a passion for their work. While Adi advocates for the support of all of the company values, Adi particularly values teamwork and believes that our ability to work well as a team is reflected in the service we provide.
Over the years, Adi has been involved in some very exciting and high-profile projects, including the conversion of the 2012 Olympic Athlete’s Village into apartments as well as supporting the installation of a £120,000,000 plastic recycling plant, where he helped manage an international team through a global pandemic.
In his spare time, Adi enjoys cycling and has completed a number of long-distance events. In 2022, Adi cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats raising money for Visyon, a local Young Person’s Mental Health Charity he is a Trustee for. In 2023, he outdid himself and completed the well renowned Paris-Brest-Paris – one of the most challenging long distance cycling events – cycling 1200km in a little over 77 hours.
He also enjoys paddleboarding and would like to paddle the Caledonian Canal across Scotland.
Annette
Annette, our Business Development & Operations Director began working with Ensure Safety & Training in 2010, when her husband Adi set up the company. At the time, Annette worked full time at a local primary school where she acted as the Health & Safety Governor and specialised in Dyslexia Support. Over the following years, she began reducing her days at school in order to offer more support to the then growing business. In 2014, Annette joined Ensure Safety & Training full time.
She gets great pleasure from building positive relationships with our clients, this is evident in the work she has put into developing and implementing our customer journey. This is something we feel is unique to us. It sets us apart from the rest and Annette has been the driving force behind this. She leads all initial communication with potential clients; she conducts discovery calls and develops bespoke proposals. She then manages the transfer of the client to their designated consultant. Annette then keeps in touch with our clients throughout the year, checking in and supporting them with any additional queries. She enjoys watching our clients grow in confidence as a result of our ongoing support and thrives for each client to feel as though we are a member of their team, working with them to help them achieve their goals.
While Annette promotes all of the company values, she values integrity above all else and hopes that those who we work with consider us, both as a team and as individuals, to be trustworthy, reliable and fair.
Annette also manages the training department and works to ensure that all of our courses are delivered in an inclusive, dyslexic friendly way. Using her skills from her previous roles, she understands the importance of making a classroom environment welcoming, calming, and encouraging. She ensure that all of our courses take advantage of a range of teaching and learning methods, ensuring that all of our candidates are offered the best opportunity for them to learn.
Annette is particularly proud of the team that herself and Adi have developed; a team of like-minded individuals, with their own personalities and traits, who all have their families at the heart of everything they do.
In her spare time, Annette likes to spend as much time as possible around water. Spending a lot of time on Anglesey, taking long walks along the beach and looking out to sea. She has also taken up paddleboarding and is progressing towards paddling between the Menai Bridge and Brittania Bridge.
