This course is aimed at anyone who has the responsibility of using an EVAC Chair to evacuate people from a building.
This course is delivered over a 3-hour session and covers topics including, an overview of the regulatory requirements surrounding EVAC Chairs, safe manual handling practices, developing a Personal Evacuation Plan, and the safe use of equipment. There will be a practical session where candidates will have the opportunity to use the equipment, they have available on site.
This certificate is valid for 3 years.
